There is nothing sweeter then that first ride. Primed the carb and two kicks later came that sweet Honda sound. Sorry it took so long to make this post but I'm been very busy at work- Enjoy the pics...

Hi Everyone - It's really coming together now. I figure one more week and I'll be able to take it for the first ride. Got the engine installed and wired up and the new tires mounted. Won't be long now.....

I'm thinking I might for a chrome fender instead of the OEM one....We'll see how it looks.

Hi Everyone!!! We have paint This weekend I started putting on the candy apple red metallic paint. Seems to be coming out ok - certainly what I expected. Next step is to finish the wiring and assembly.

(Don't worry the dented headlight cover is going to be replaced - just for pictures)

Thanks for checking out the progress on my project!

Honda CA160 Motorcycle – Restoration Part 2 - (Pics)

Well it's time to start the disassembly. The bike has a lot more rust then I thought it would but they always do. We'll see how it turns out as I'm not really looking to do a show room quality restoration here. My ultimate goal is to have the bike look good from 20 ft. . One major issue that will need to be addressed is the missing tab on the upper part of the frame for mounting the engine. I'll just use the remaining "tab" as a template for fabricating the new one.

On with the pictures....
