Wireless Allergy Sufferers?

Posted August 29, 2009 7:29 AM

In England, a DJ is claiming that he suffers from Wi-Fi sensitivity, convinced that the signals have caused him a variety of health problems. And in Vancouver City, Canada, the mayor declared August Electromagnetic Sensitivity (EMS) Month. EMS is recognized in many countries as a chronic disease — with no cure — portraying symptoms of headaches, fatigue, weakness, and more. The mayor says that limiting exposure to cell phones, cell transmitters, and wireless technology can bring relief to sufferers. Are these cases psychosomatic or could wireless allergies be real?

I have noticed that as long as I am wearing my specially designed tin foil hat, yes it has to be tin as aluminum allows bad stuff to pass, my head is fine. But when I take it off I get these head aches and see visions, really scary visions, of a crazy person doing very bad things.

They're almost certainly psychosomatic (when not fraudulent) in that these kinds of things never seemed to occur when people were listening to radios in 'the good old days', etc. (i.e., when radio waves permeated the air, like they still do). Or when they turn on their car engines and there's sparking in their alternator. Or when they're sitting by the computer. Or when lightning strikes.

Etc., etc., etc.

Here's a cure for EMS ... Effexor. Or Prozac. Or many others ...

You guys remind me of all the chemists I know who handle stuff normally meant to be inside impermeable tankers. "It's just a little bit, won't hurt..." Jules
