The newly formed motorcycle gang could only afford one measly bike with their yearly membership fee...

(but it definitely ensured that they would ride together as a pack! - and be verrrrry intimidating)

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space.....

For those of you too young to know what I'm talking about, here's the clip:

Great Movie.

It's a little known fact that Steve S was a logger in the Pacific Northwest back in the 1970s. Steve S could clear more land with an axe in a day than an entire army of men with chainsaws could in a week. This was probably because Steve S' axe was a mile long and weighed 100 tons. Anyway, in 1980 Steve S made a bet with some local loggers that he could clear 100 acres of land in a day, and so he started at 6 in the morning and by 10 o'clock at night, sure enough, he had cleared the 100 acres and won the bet. Bone tired, he lay down and slept right where he had finished.

The next day, around 8:30, he was woken by the other loggers starting up their chainsaws. Being woken from a dream where he was chopping trees, and still only half awake, he took his big axe and swung as hard as he could. His axe hit the top of a nearby mountain and chopped the mountain top clean off. Fully awake now Steve S. realized the decapitated mountaintop was headed straight for a major city. Steve S sprung into action, leaping into the air and bashing the mountain top with his fists until it was nothing more than dust. Naturally everyone assumed there had been a massive volcanic eruption. It's hard to say how many millions Steve S. saved that day. What is certain is that after that day Steve S never picked up an axe again and the view in Seattle was never quite the same.

Better rider education and public awareness mean safer motorcycling. Unfortunately, as seen in this photo, daytime running lights (proven to increase visibility) are not mandated in all countries.
