Chemical industry is a major sector expected to cater to growing demands universally. The demand for chemicals as raw material and direct use chemicals is phenomenally on the rise forever.

The organic chemical industry suffers frequent hikes due to petroleum prices, but over produced competitive products like polymers, fibres slog frequently and affect profitability.

In organic chemicals suffered huge price escalation last year and are now stabilized in the recent terms.

Chemical industry will survive in tune with daily needs of industry and society-unless technological change from chemicals to something else comes to reality.

Recently China has made moves to eliminate the black market trade and illegal export of some chermicals and raw materials; also China made a policy decision not to export raw materials, only finished products. These changes would seem to incicate that chemical and raw material exporters to China should see improvement.

During the phase of CHINA OLYMPICS, there was an acute shortage of Sulphuric Acid and sulphate salts. The reason told was ,preferential export to CHINA. The consequence was mere doubling of chemical prices. Now the situation is normal and prices got stabilized.

China seems to have got mass consumption it seems.
