Dyson Wants an Ingenious Britain

Inventor James Dyson in his "Ingenious Britain" report is recommending an overhaul of government policies to bolster the UK's global technical prowess, reports the Telegraph. He stresses the importance of big projects, such as high-speed rail and nuclear power, to both challenge engineers and inspire young people. Among his other recommendations: major increases in R&D tax credits for technology start-ups, incentives for "angel" investors who support technology companies, and government-guaranteed bank loans for innovative businesses.
