A wireless PC-based diagnostic workstation uses Bluetooth technology to acquire and store data for both ECG and stress tests. With an Internet connection, clinicians analyze test results from anywhere. One-button navigation streamlines file transfer to an electronic medical record (EMR), although data can be accessed without an EMR.

Question: Is there any downside to the growing trend of remote acquisition/analysis of medical data?
