Power-sipping Pico Projectors

Posted October 04, 2010 8:15 AM

A new projector designed to integrate with phones and other mobile electronics consumes 30% less power than current models and incorporates colored lasers. Promising, since the first picoprojectors to market weren't very bright and many were stand-alone devices or add-ons that quickly drained batteries. Have your experiences with picoprojectors wowed or disappointed you?

Responding to another CR4 blog made me think how prophetic some of the sci-fi folks are and how soon some of these out-of-this-world technologies will come to pass. I personally would like to be the guy that invents the first interactive holographic display. Power-Point look out!
