Pedestrian safety drives the design of the Hyundai QarmaQ. The concept car replaces traditional metal and glass components with composites and thermoplastics that absorb energy and ultimately save weight and fuel. And with components made almost entirely of recycled plastic material, it also saves 900 PET plastic bottles from waste.
