Significant Energy Savings via VSDs

Engineering Steel Belgium audited its pump-system operating hours and calculated that the total annual cost for operating cooling-system pumps was EUR117,000. It found dramatic energy savings by the application of VSDs on its cooling-pump motors, reducing energy consumption by EUR45,000/yr. Have you had similar successes with VSDs?

This is better than the VFD's. It costs more initially but it is more cost effective in the long run.
