Quakes and Communication Breaks

A day after the East Coast earthquake jammed wireless networks, those on both sides of the federal spectrum legislation debate found reasons to support their respective views. The president of CTIA wireless group says that overwhelmed cell phone networks are evidence that wireless operators need more spectrum to meet the nation's surging demand. The National Association of Broadcasters was quick to point out that while cell phone networks were clogged, broadcasters still provided viewers with earthquake information without disruption. Whose side are you on?
