A Decade of Design Changes

Posted October 13, 2011 7:00 AM

How has design engineering changed over the last decade? Respondents to this Design News survey, including an industrial information specialist, an electrical design engineer, and an applications engineer, cite increased emphasis on cost constraints and profits at the expense of technical analyses. The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Medical Equipment Design, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Medical Equipment Design today.
