Back in October we asked for your support in voting for our Twitter account, @CR4_News, in a Business-to-Business Twitterer of the year contest. The results are in...

@CR4_News was a runner-up in the B2B Publications category of the contest! We are honored to be recognized because there were 20 other nominees in the category.

Although the number of votes wasn't the only selection criteria (a panel of judges analyzed each Twitter account) it certainly helped. In fact, @CR4_News had 34 more votes than its nearest competitor.

Sometimes they are called "tweeps". (Like my "peeps".)

The contest calls them "Twitterers".

I think it's just easier (and more universal) to say "someone who is on Twitter"!

The judging and voting must have been done BEFORE the unexplained closure of multitudes of threads, leaving any in CR4 to ask WTF???!

It was a social media contest focusing on Twitter. The judging was based solely on our communications via Twitter. None of those "contributions" were considered. If they had they may have been a strike against us given it was a contest for professionals.
