Recently, I learned about a really effective way to get rid of weeds that peek out from sidewalk cracks: blowtorches.

As does hot water, and thinking about it Napalm and a low yield tactical nuclear device.

From a practical perspective however, I know what I would rather use.

Cmon now, would you rather dig them up? or shoot them with a laser? Besides you'll ruin your knees like that....

MIT researchers found evidence of this, as they've never found weed growing out of the screens they run their presentations on; the reason? they use laser pointers more than generously on them.
