Its either under a bridge or over a river? Perhaps some place thats through the woods along the way to grandmothers house?

Beautiful masonry arches. By looking closely at the architecture I'm guessing it's in Europe somewhere. Possibly on the Thames River in the UK, or even in the Netherlands? Again, just guessing and I may be entirely wrong wrong wrong! LOL

ps: How does one enlarge a pic here? I'd like a close-up looksee to check out the details....

As many of you have guessed:

It's one of the two arches of Brunel's railway bridge across the River Thames at Maidenhead a.k.a. The Sounding Bridge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Railway_Bridge

It is notable that when it was built, train speeds and weights were in the 40mph/45T region. Today, without modification, the service is in the 125mph/500T region, and many times the frequency.
