Handheld devices and a rapidly expanding selection of apps are usurping laptops for access to data from virtually any location. Take CAD into the field for better coordination, collaboration, and presentations.

The focus (no pun intended) is on drama and not reality. So, it doesn't have to or need to be technically correct, just look good to some editor's eye.
I STILL have my Palm Tungsten. Still use it- nothing better for taking field notes, etc. Even use it to download data from a couple of data recorders. One of the best operating systems ever...A shame Palm has faded into the HP black hole...
I have had AutoCAD on my Android for over a year now... works great in the field, able to view and modify any DWG/DXF. Not sure how this is just now making news...

I have AutoCAD WS on my iPad, is hard to actually implement it other then mark ups or referencing in the feild, probaly because of patch of transfering it back at the office as well as the funtionality limits.
The other week I did just downed loaded ForceEffect apps, This I think I would get more out of.
