It reminds of a huge Soviet era radiotelescope. The diameter was about 1 km, the outside fence panel elements somewhere 10-30m high, not moveable. They reflected wideband signals to the central ovoid receiving antennas. This arrangement did see in many directions at the same time. The Earth rotation provided scanning.

Awkward in use, now an antique.

You should crop the images better before submitting.

I blew up the image and got the Google lat and long numbers at the bottom...

33 40 34 N
106 28 31 W

A deg/min/sec converter gave me:

33.676111,-106.475278

Put THAT in Google Maps!

Well, you could guess without doing that, couldn't you? Some people "cheat" with Google's image search. It's as tough as you make it.

The lat/long on the image gave it away for me.

SimpleMind was right - it's the Trinity Site in New Mexico, where first A-Bomb was detonated.
