I've been carrying one (The Mechanic) on me almost everyday since 1990 when my wife bought me one for Christmas. After 9/11, I've had to check it in my luggage when flying. Not quite as rugged as a Leatherman, but it is a bit more versatile and when I'm not wearing it, I feel somewhat naked because I end up using it so many times during the day.

I was also distraught over misplacing my Champ. Almost feels like losing an appendage after carrying it everyday for better than five years.
