...and aspirin and paracetamol are two home remedies for headaches.

Here's another solution: don't let any oil leak in the first place.

If party A creates an oil spill from their negligence, it's nice to know that party B has the resources readily available to clean up the mess.

I'd like to think that there might be more strict enforcement of regulations after the few bad oil spills we've had.
