We were about 30 miles from the launch. It was pretty hazy where we were at, so the picture did not resolve the space vehicle very well, sorry to say.

After I pulled my camera and tripod back inside the roar from the engine was very prominent. I could hear it inside the house distinctly. Good launch.

I'm about 50 miles away. I got a pretty good view of it. I heard and felt the rumble for about 10 minutes afterward. Longer and louder than when the shuttle goes up. The Delta 4 sure is a beast.

If it's super secret, why are we reading about it?

The secret is who went with it. Missing anyone? The president maybe?

LOL.

Ha! It was probably a dummy. The real one was launched from Vandenberg AFB a day earlier.
