These days, nanotechnology's a one-stop shop. You won't just find nano materials in your sunscreen; you can find them in your surfboard, as well. Yes, Gidget, you heard me. Titanium particles 20-nm in diameter embedded in the epoxy resin of a Hawaiian manufacturer's surfboards make the material stronger without increasing the weight. The new material stands to increase cost by 30%.
