A new species of feathered dinosaur has been discovered - and it's not closely related to birds, indicating that feathers may have been far more prevalent amongst dinosaurs than previously believed.

Thank you, I wander if the Chinese dragons and Mayan sculptures of Quetzalcoatl were inspired by early findings of this nature .

I doubt the "Intelligent Designer" would have done it that way.

If the evidence of feathers is there, God, the "Intelligent Designer" did do it that way. The only difference would be the interpretation and conclusions drawn after looking at the data. Evolutionists would try and connect some sort of imaginary dots and the Creationists would just accept the fact that that is the way the animal was designed to start with.
