The article is much like a soup I recently had:

No meat
No potatoes
Thin and watery, served with day old bread.

Is there someone somewhere pushing for a supersonic biplane?

Economically viable? No.

I don't see the demand ever being there.

I'm with you on this. A very interesting idea, but this is just a solution looking for a problem. I believe the death of the Concorde can be attributed, in part, to the medium of communication we are using here.
