Diesel Vehicle Sales Up 27.5% So Far in 2012

Posted August 02, 2012 10:06 AM

From Autoblog:

America finally accepts that a diesel car can be very attractive in many respects to a petrol driven one.....not the least being not on board with a very explosive chemical....

About the only negative side is that normal Diesel foams dramatically, slowing filling up and it has an unpleasant aroma and once you get it on your hands, you need to wash them.....before you get it on the steering wheel for example.....

I find all the other points about Diesel to be positive....

Diesel has an unpleasant aroma? I must be sick because, I rather like the smell of diesel!

I'm glad we are finally waking up a little over here. Diesel is a wonderful fuel source IMO

The percentage change in non-diesel vehicles would add some weight to the story.
