Yes, I am aware, that yoghurt, kefir, and various cheeses involve useful microorganisms. Yes, I am aware, that water from a well is not pure, pure.

But, the suggestion, that a lowly water plant worker should be turned into a scientist closely familiar with various bacteria is too much to bear.
