Motor Quartet Makes Sand Art

This video shows how four stepper motors work together to produce eye-catching sand art. The accompanying article describes the drawing machine that uses the motors. This machine draws in a roughly 600 x 600 mm sandbox with a spatial accuracy of around 0.1 mm for the most part, according to the article.

Looks like a crude plotter and simple graphics, people have been doing simular things for close to 50 years...Gizmodo people are really digging for articles, and that this would show up on CR4, wtf???????????
