Comparing CO2 Laser, Fiber Laser, and Dual-source Laser Technologies

Two types of engraving, cutting, and marking systems - CO2 lasers and fiber lasers - are in high demand by today's designers and manufacturers. These systems can be used for everything from marking bare metals to cutting organic materials.

Space and/or budget constraints, however, can make it difficult to incorporate both technologies in one facility. It's important to know the differences to make the right choice. Today, their technologies can be combined in a single system called a dual-source laser.
