Programmable Digital Power Control

The digital power IC market is forecast to grow more than 40% year over year until 2019.

incase of fault (the long list ...) . . . you´ll likely have to replace the entire thing (´coz of it´s tight integration) - the more accuracy the higher frequency for control clock/timer - v. - the analog design may just be (the magnitudes of more simple/)less costly in non-std./retail solutions
