Investment in Water Infrastucture

To help prop up the struggling U.S. water infrastructure, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the $11.5 billion Water Resources Development Act of 2016, which includes $170 million set aside for Flint, MI water improvements. In private action, the Boston water authority plans to spend $1.5 billion to fix the valves and pipelines that run underneath the city's downtown area.
