Liquid Volumetric Displays of 3D Images

A new volumetric display with laser-generated microbubble voxels enables a 3D image to appear in a columnar display instead of on a flat surface without wearing glasses or headsets. Full-color updatable volumetric displays could be used for art or museum exhibits, where viewers can walk around the display.

I was wondering if your 3D display would float to the top. Maybe the bubbles are so tiny that the drag (viscosity) forces far exceed the buoyancy forces (a square/cube thing).
