Smart Pad Puts Pressure on Scars

A new treatment for hypertrophic scars from burns, surgeries, and trauma combines the advantages of both traditional pressure pads and silicone gel sheets. The Smart Scar-Care pad designed at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University serves the dual functions of reinforcing pressure and occlusion.
