Do you recognize this week’s building? It’s every bit as confusing as it appears. Care to take a guess?

It is the "Really Hip Zuni Casino" right next door to the real pueblo, in New Mexico.

See the USA in your Chevrolet. America is calling you to drive.

Speaking of engineer vacations, I am thinking I would like to see October about now.

As IdeaSmith, JE in Chicago, and Randall indicated, this is Pierre Cardin’s Palais Bulles, or the Palace of Bubbles, which is very similar to the Unal House guessed by Solar Eagle. The 28-bedroom "palace" was built by Hungarian architect Antti Lovag in 1984; however, it is Pierre Cardin, a couturier and art patron, who transformed it into “an astonishing ‘architectural folly,’ the envy of the whole world" after purchasing the estate in 1992.

Pierre Cardin explained his love for the design, saying: “Clinging to the rocky Estérel, this palace has become my own bit of paradise. Its cellular forms have long reflected the outward manifestations of the image of my creations. It is a museum where I exhibit the works of contemporary designers and artists.”
