It's OK! We'll get you down. First let me grab onto your legs with this wire.

Don't worry, I've got it staked into the ground with a hefty copper bar. I even got it wet so I could pack the ground around it really well.

Are you hot? I could spray you down with a water hose while we wait.

Forget the water, but couple squirts of BBQ sauce would be nice!

Answering a Craig's list ad : I was looking for a 3 phase goat, this one appears to be only a single phase.

Even though Todd gave up his dream of being an Olympic gymnast to work on the family farm he still made time to develop his routine just in case.

Re: Caption This for 08/25/2017

Someone has commented to me on my #14 caption that no one (even on this august site) is going to look up the reference to some crazy name of an obscure star in the constellation of Capricorn in order to understand what my caption means so here is a URL which has most of the background one needs to appreciate it: http://www.constellationsofwords.com/star/DenebAlgedi.html and the executive summary goes like this: 'This star marks the approximate position of the discovery of the Planet Neptune on September 23, 1846 by German astronomer Johann Galle.' The man is reaching up to affix a Light Emitting Diode as a representation of that star on the "tail of the goat" he has suspended in the sky to commemorate the discovery of Neptune just prior to the anniversary of that discovery. Capricorn is the Goat/Fish constellation, thus my caption #14: "This LED represents Deneb Algiedi.," says the man in explanation to the goat( the reluctant representative of the constellation Capricorn) who, of course, has no interest in the history of the discovery of Neptune. I had hoped someone else would have put all this together from the star name, but since that did not seem to be happening I am reduced to painful explicitness. -thewildotter

They're going to need to hand a LOT more goats to get it looging as good as this:

So then I tie the rope to his feet like so... pull down as far as I can, let go, and slingshot him right over to the next pasture. Waaaay simpler than building a gate in the fence.
