This week's building submission is courtesy of silvCrow. Thank you!

Care to take a guess at what building it is?

It reminds me of a tower I saw in Columbus, Indiana a few years ago, but can't remember the name of it.

Edit: No, can't see any images of it online.
--But, if you want to visit a town with a lot of interesting architecture, Columbus, IN, is a good place to go. A number of famous architects have buildings there.

Is that "Little Rocket Man" standing on top..........I think it must be his viewing platform so that he can watch for missiles from Donald "Duck" when he attacks NK with "fire and Fury"

It is the fire training tower for the Honolulu Fire Department, or the one Lubbock Fire Department uses when on vacation in Hawaii.

Now the shape of that pointy tower leads me to think the building is in the Czech Republic or Slovokia or maybe Hungary.

Yes, but the showers are to die for! No hot running water, unless the house is fire, though.

Whatever, I am sure the architect was not Jacky Gleason, or a doppelganger.

Could the architect be the infamous "thin man", of urban lore?

Last week’s building, which was so graciously submitted by silvCrow, was actually the Tower of History. Located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, “the tower has observation platforms for visitors to get spectacular views and photos of the world’s busiest inland shipping channel.” According to Sault Historic Sites, the “Tower of History was built in 1968 by the Catholic Church as the Shrine of the Missionaries.” When the larger plan for the structure and the complexes intended to surround it was cut by the church, the building was donated to the Sault Historic Sites.
