It's called a "fire truck" for a reason you know.

Maybe using those overhead lines wasn't the best way to jump start the battery after all.

TCM Tech's attempt to turn a fire truck into a high efficiency boiler seems a little off.

Full Moon

Truck #28 seems to have a Lunar poltergeist alchemist visit every 28 days with another of the four alchemical elements. First, it was the mud slide(Earth), then there was the tornado(Air), and now this(Fire). Watch out for a flood(Water) next month.

I guess the fire service will entertain the option of 5000 volt insulated booms in their next upgrade.

that one requires upgrade right about now.

Well, it is a fire truck!

Sanitation trucks carry garbage, cement mixers carry concrete... we carry fire.

Fireman, put out thyself.

Or a parable: Who puts out his neighbors car without first putting out his own truck....

Near truck experience, "Then I saw a bright heavenly light before my eyes and I realized it was my tire..."

Can anyone comment about this firetruck on fire? Possible causes? I'm trying to keep an open mind.

Re: Caption This for 12/08/2017

I've seen a few flat bed trucks with tire fires. Usual cause is a partially engaged brake that heats up the drum to red hot. While moving, the truck may smoke, but air circulation keeps the tire from catching since there is an air gap between the OD of the brake drum and the ID of the wheel. After the truck stops, the heat from the drum cooks through the wheel and lights the tire.

It's been a week and NOBODY made a comment or chuckle at my Fahrenheit 451 reference?

READ A BOOK, people, let's not let the future from that story come to pass.
