Hard-Wired Jobs for Home Installers

The Copper Development Association (CDA) says all things digital for the home have created a new job segment, communications wiring installer. Home entertainment systems, video storage systems, and multiple internet access points require expert installers that are combination tradesmen and computer network specialists. The so-called structured-wiring infrastructure arena will be particularly attractive to entrepreneurs, according to the CDA, and training programs are widely available.
