Irv Gordon in his 1966 Volvo P1800 has just broken 2,485,484 miles (4 million Kilometers). Hats off to you Irv, in a society where a simply replace rather then repair your clearing shining example of futility as it's finest – 1 car for the past 40 years & given the miles you've logged you certainly seem to still enjoy it. As a previous owner of a P1800 and having design automotive components clearly some great design work and build quality went into the construction of this car. I doubt many vehicles produced today could accomplish this feat.
