New Light on Old Foam

Posted September 30, 2007 8:33 AM

Speed, weight, and power use — all reasons why chemical foaming is making news. The Hyperfoam process does not rely on resin, features a surface-improving counterpressure option, and has uniform foam distribution courtesy of 600 mm/sec injection speed. This translates to weight savings up to 30%, clamping force reductions up to 60%, and about 30% less power consumption.
