Does SWE Enable Strategic Applications

Posted October 25, 2007 8:17 AM

An article in Sensors magazine outlines how the concept of sensor Web enablement (SWE) promises to make a vast array of sensors of all types more readily accessible to those who need them — whether for Homeland Security, plant operation and security, weather-event warning, monitoring of driving habits, equipment, motion detectors, or energy efficiency devices, to name a few possible applications. Could your organization benefit from SWE? Are you using it now? Please share your experiences and opinions.

The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Data Acquisition, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Data Acquisition today.
