"Vocal joystick" software moves a computer cursor in eight directions depending on the vowel sound: "ah, aw, ee, and oo." Detecting sound 100×/sec, different versions allow you to browse the Web, draw, or play video games. Future apps include controlling electronic wheelchairs and robotic arms.
