I am sure it will be absolutely wonderful if the BPL companys are ever able to fix their service so that it is not a broad base radio noise source from the broadcast band to VHF. If this goes in close to you say goodbye to any direct reception of radio signals. There is a big problem with emergency mobile radio being jammed out.

That there is plenty of political clout for BPL from the FCC and the current administration is no suprise. The power companys and no doubt Direct TV have plenty of money and those campaigns must be financed and a couple of years after you retire there is always a nice consulting job available.

Several other countrys have looked into this technology and rejected it. Most electronic engineers that I have read seem to think the technology is flawed.
