NASA Cleans Up Its Act

Demonstrating the risks that abound in a lab setting, even a setting as stringent as a NASA clean room, is the recent discovery by scientists that the cleanest rooms in their lab still harbor bacteria. Despite scouring, air filtration, and unfriendly conditions, the bacteria find a way to prevail. NASA plans to use the discovery to shore up its cleaning and filtering techniques.
