How to Find An Expert

Posted December 26, 2007 7:47 AM

Career success often depends on finding the right expert to help with difficult decisions. This Control Design article says to avoid experts such as vendors who have a direct financial stake in a certain outcome. The article goes on to show how to find better resources such as peers and truly independent systems integrators and consultants. Search for someone who frequently implements similar technology. The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Electrical Components, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Electrical Components today.
