Mobile communication GPS has blind spots — in tunnels, parking facilities, urban canyons — where the receiver lacks a direct view of the satellites. This GPS receiver uses dead reckoning technology and sensors that detect distance traveled and turn rate to supplement GPS data and providing an accurate position.
