The top QA association — the American Society for Quality — is tackling China's quality challenges firsthand with a series of seminars this year in major cities throughout China, reports Manufacturing Business Technology. Randall Gooden, chair of ASQ's Product Safety & Liability Prevention Interest Group, is conducting the seminars, which stress the connection between systematic quality practice and avoiding product liability. Meanwhile, U.S. toymakers at their annual fair in January, vowed to step up quality control campaigns at Chinese facilities. Does more need to be done? Is your industry affected?
