Configurable Accelerometer Conditioning

Posted February 25, 2008 8:25 AM

Constant-current sensor excitation supports piezoelectric sensors with built-in microelectronic amplifiers. It isolates, filters, and amplifies the sensor output, yielding a high-level analog voltage output. Parameters such as excitation current, signal gain, and filter high-pass and low-pass cutoff frequencies are selectable. What applications would benefit most?
