Kernel mode gets data faster

When a lot of folks think database, they think disk, file system, and SQL. But much of the time that's way too much overhead for embedded systems, especially small embedded systems, to deal with.

McObject has taken the in-memory database approach for some time, and this week announced a new wrinkle - kernel mode.
