We've spent a couple of months thinking maybe high gas prices, or maybe
just ennui, had taken the starch out of the cruising season. Turns out
people were just waiting for the stars to align, and last night's
fiesta stuffed our lot, and sent cars onto the street, the grass out
front and everywhere else in town. Here's a first gen ('71) 454 big block Monte Carlo SS, optioned to the hilt.
Buckets, Hyrda-Matic, power steering, A/C–someone ticked $1,920 in
options at Galles Chevrolet in Albuquerque. I love these things.
