Live longer? Are you sure about this? As a lefty myself I wish it was true but all of the research I've seen suggests the opposite. Were living in a world designed for the right handed so our chance of injury is much greater - hence the lower life span average. If you have information suggesting otherwise please share - I'm always ready to add a few more years on my life
Stilljester-you are correct! Being a "leftie" has some advantages, but more disadvantages. I am left-handed, left-footed-stuck in a right-handers world. We might have the mental ability to process information quicker, but that does little good when we are "forced" to use right-handed equipment in our daily lives.
I'm the GUEST from China (MSN macromold@hotmail.com). I am sure the lefties live longer, at least it is the situation in China. You may not know, there goes an old saying in China, "the lefties live longer". Chinese culture is very mysterious, it has so much more that modern science can not explain.
I have never read the researches you've seen in the past. But I think the articles you read thru was done within your country, experimenting with the whites. I am Chinese, but I am righty. My grandfather died without any diseases when he was 106 years old, he was a lefty. He was clever, he thought and acted quickly as I could remember.
My conclusion is: "the lefties live longer" may not apply in your country, it might be applicable in China or Mongolia or Japan only, because our skin color is different. Keep in mind I'm not a racialist, I just tell what I know. I am a moderate guy.
