Rewritten by machine and new technology

Posted September 09, 2008 1:31 PM by mavella

Ever wake up with a song pounding in your head, and you haven't heard it for a while so there's not an immediate explanation? Step into my world for a couple minutes, if you would.

Change is a fascinating thing, and it's been quite engaging theater watching the political types try to define it, position it, capture it, and reposition it the last few weeks. Don't worry, I'm not taking political sides here - it's the trend that I'm interested in.

Because I know that you've sat in a meeting recently and the subject of the economy has at least indirectly come up. It's one of the core reasons so many people are focused on change.

With the screws tightened to squeeze out every drop of profit economic conditions must take center stage in all of our lives.

Change would be what loosening the screws to allow us to enjoy a little of the profits from our hard work ?

Amazing how the old adage still has some sting, no matter the change all remains the same.

But I've never heard the songs in my head before

Do you think we mat see real change shortly like it or not.

Oct. 1st a $ 511,000,000,000.00 Billion Dollar interest payment is due on the National Debt.

Where will this money come from with the Government already carrying s $400 billion dollar budget defict ?

Oct. 2nd could be a very interesting day.

Probably, but I refuse to be a pessimist about it - that likely wouldn't help anyway...

Change is as always an inevitability. One generation lives while the other dyes. What I find interesting is how very similar the end result is. I am in my forties now and becoming the new generation as it pertains to business. I look around me and see allot of X-hippies, the counter culture, the let live and love crowd. What puzzles me more that anything is this is now the other generation, who is involved in corporate corruption, sending troupes to fight a war over the control of oil. These guys are bilking our parents with high cost prescription drugs, high cost health care and believe it or not even the reverse mortgage. Change will happen, its all about who gets to change the names to protect the Innocent.
