CETA Faculty Earn Accolades: At this year's induction ceremony at the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame Dr. Abby Ilumoka, professor of electrical and computer engineering, will be honored as "one of the best of 'A New Century of Women in Science,'" for her leadership and achievements in electrical engineering and her efforts to mentor young women.

CA Inc, Sponsors Anita Borg Institute for Women in Technology: CA, Inc. announced today its sponsorship of the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI), an organization dedicated to increasing the impact of women on all aspects of technology and increasing the positive impact of technology on women. Through this sponsorship, CA will support programs that bring together members of industry, academia, and government to discuss the preeminent issues facing women in technology fields.

Trailblazer's career is honored by peers: Professor Dame Julia Higgins, leading polymer scientist and former principal of the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College in London, was honoured by friends, colleagues and members of the international science community for her pioneering research.

2 Ohio women tapped for state Hall of Fame: Michele G. Wheatly, dean of the College of Science and Mathematics at Wright State University, will be inducted into the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame. Springfield native Caro Bayley Bosca of Clark County, one of the first women to fly during World War II and a former president of the WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilots) club, will be inducted posthumously.
